Made of solid wood (scientific name: Intsia spp. including I. nijuga and I. palembanica; common names: Merbau, Kwila, Ipil), with wood originating from South America, it’s suitable for exterior wall cladding as well as indoor wall panel decoration, applicable for both commerce and household use.

Featuring a European design style, it also encompasses styles like contemporary, traditional, rustic, and modern. With a Janka hardness of 1,840 lbf (7,620 N) and a density of 0.95 - 1.05g/m³, the wood has a rich brown color with beautiful grain, is very resistant to termites and decay, and has photo sensitivity. Available in grade AB, the surface is smooth natural, with surface treatments including weathering preservative oiled or pure natural sanded.

It functions as sound - absorbing, mould - proof, fireproof, and soundproof. The plank size is 1800×125×18mm, and size also ranges from 1200 - 1800×90×9mm/18mm. Shrinkage is radial: 2.9%, tangential: 4.8%, volumetric: 8.0% (T/R...), and modulus of rupture is 21,060 lbf / in2 (145.2MPa). Installation is via nailing down onto wood beams (40×40, 40×60mm etc.), with a joint system of shiplap or rainscreen clips system.
